Painted interior

Spencer and I did the interior painting ourselves (the walls-- we had some experts do the ceilings), which wasn't really the most fun thing ever.  Our method was to spray and back-roll for two coats.  It turned out pretty good despite our challenges, and we're both VERY happy with the colors we chose.  We did a white throughout, accent walls in the living, office, and both bedrooms, and a green in the bathrooms.

We don't have a lot of in-progress photos, but this shows some of the masking we set up.  This is the fireplace wall, shown completed below.  The color is Benjamin Moore Oxford gray.

The office (through the interior window on the left) accent wall is the same, Oxford gray.  You can see how it's different in different light.

Below: this is the headboard wall in the master bedroom, and it's also Oxford gray.

Below: this is the headboard wall in the guest bedroom.  The color is called winter lake, and it's just a notch lighter than the Oxford gray, if I remember correctly.  It looks a little dark in this photo, compared to real life....  It's hard to show the colors accurately in photos.

Below: looking out from the office to the living, dining, and entry.  We didn't like the official name for the white that we chose, so we renamed it "Vashon mist".  It's very nice.  The ceilings are also Vashon mist.
