Here's the carpet that we chose. It's a Berber/loop, low-profile style.

Office.
There are the floors! So awesome. This is the living room, and dining area to the far right. The heater you see above the office is a heat pump mini-split head. There's a unit outside the house on the back that extracts heat from the air, and then transfers it to this in-room head. There are units here, in the guest room, the house bath, and the master closet that are all individually-controlled.

Dining area on the far right, and the entryway over there under the lamp. The lamp is re-purposed. It belongs to our former (!) landlord and he took it out of their house when they did a remodel. It was taking up space in his barn and he offered it to us.
The photo is taken right outside the office door. The living room is down there on the right and on the left is first the bathroom and then the guestroom.
